Now taking cognizance of the notice of strike, The Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) has decided to hold the conciliation proceedings on 6th February, 2014 at New Delhi and has called IBA and U.F.B.U. to attend the conciliation proceedings. UFBU decided to strongly put up their case of salary revision justifying our demands.
UFBU is not hopeful of better offer from govt form 9th meeting on 6.02.2014 and has already communicated all their units countrywide to hold demonstrations on 6th February, 2014 against govt attitude and preparation of strike dated 10-11 February 2014.
UFBU has seen resentment of general bank employees through social media on slow progress of wage revision and also charged UFBU the partner of IBA for delaying wage revision for mutual benefits UFBU and IBA.
As some employees mentioned , a section of employees are in view that govt wants wage negotiation before parliamentary election announcement (approx910 April 2014) but union leaders are in their parental political leaders inclination want to linger negotiation till May 2014.
